Plantasia

Welcome to Plantasia, a card game prototype where you explore a strange new world filled with weird creatures and jokes.

Currently, the game features three battles, but I may expand it later with map and deckbuilding elements if you enjoy it.

Game Description

In a world of strange plants, sacrifice cards to invoke creatures and spells.
Every sacrifice must be carefully planned to survive.

Information

• Ability Icons: Place your cursor over the icon on the card to see what it does.

• Lore Icons: Sometimes, another icon appears on top of the ability icon; place your cursor over it to learn more about the card’s story.

• In-Game Tutorial: An in-game rules section and an unlimited-practice battle help you get started.

Controls

• Mouse: Move the cursor and click right and left.

• Escape: Pause the game and access the options.

For Mac users

• If your Mac says the app can’t be opened, don’t worry!

  Right-click the Plantasia.app file, choose Open, then confirm.
  It will only ask once; after that, it opens normally.

• Music: Special thanks to Victor for creating the main theme.

• Sound Effects: Some sounds were made by me; others come from Freesound under a Creative Commons 0 license, including the victory and defeat themes. Big thanks to everyone sharing their sounds there.
